Of the many questions President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth have faced since the start of the war in Iran, the question of 'When will it be over?' looms large. Speaking to Fox News' Brian Kilmeade on his radio show, Trump gave an answer.

“When I feel it — feel it in my bones," the 79-year-old president said, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Kilmeade then asked about Kharg Island, the small island off the coast of Iran. It could be on Trump's list of things he is seeking to take over. Thus far, Trump has ousted the leader of Venezuela and ensured his choice was installed as the new president. He then threatened to take over Greenland, claiming that the island is important to American national security.

“I can’t answer a question like that,” Trump said about Kharg Island. “It’s one of so many different things. It’s not high on the list, but it’s one of so many different things, and I can change my mind in seconds.”

He then attacked Kilmeade for asking the question, saying only a fool would ask it.

ABC News reporter Selina Wang also reported that Trump promised, "It's all going to work out. Look, we took an excursion." He also said for the first time that Russian President Vladimir Putin might be helping Iran "a little" in the war. Trump just relaxed sanctions against Russia after fuel prices soared.

The Kobeissi Letter, an investment industry commentary on capital markets, remarked that the moment Trump made the comments, U.S. oil prices surged again, above $96 a barrel.

Social media was flooded with comments about Trump's "bone spurs." It was the physical condition he was diagnosed with that ensured he was not drafted into the military and sent to the Vietnam War.

Others cursed "JFC" while some simply said "facepalm."

"Apparently, that’s the strategy," lamented the group Republicans against Trump.

"The Pentagon has war planners. The Joint Chiefs have battle assessments. Intelligence agencies have threat models. Trump has his bones," said political X show host Mario Nawfal.

"That's the new strategic positioning for US war-fighters, everyone back home, the whole world: Trump will stop bombing when he feels it 'in his bones,'" wrote journalist and historian Charles Fishman.

"Well, if he feels it in his bones, he wouldn't have gone to war cause of the bone spurs," said one post-production editor.
