However, as per the data from CryptoRank, the undisclosed or strategic rounds led the crypto fundraising world. Additionally, the accomplishment of a cumulative 1,179 funding rounds highlights the continued confidence in the blockchain sector, irrespective of volatility.

Undisclosed Funding Rounds Dominate Crypto Fundraising During 2025 with 28.7% Share

The year 2025 saw up to 28.7% share of total crypto funding in “Undisclosed” funding rounds. Thus, as of December 25, out of the total 1,179 rounds of this year, the undisclosed rounds were up to 338. Subsequently, the 2nd among the top categories of funding rounds taking place during 2025 was “Seed” funding rounds. So, 279 “Seed” funding rounds occurred during this year, occupying 23.6% share of the wider annual funding.
