PANews reported on November 25th that, according to PR Newswire, Stablecorp announced that its QCAD Digital Trust service has received a final receipt from the Canadian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). QCAD is issued in compliance with the current stablecoin regulatory framework, becoming Canada's first compliant CAD stablecoin. QCAD is held in custody by regulators with a 1:1 Canadian dollar reserve, providing near-instantaneous, low-cost cross-border and domestic transfers; the reserves will be audited regularly and publicly disclosed.
