Abu Dhabi, UAE — December 2025 Mamadou Kwidjim Toure, CEO of Ubuntu Tribe, participated in Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW). The four-day event brought together prominent entrepreneurs, including Bill Gates, decision-makers from all over the world, and institutional investors overseeing a combined $63 trillion in assets.
The week saw crypto executives move between panel stages, private investor meetings, and invitation-only gatherings across the city. Bitcoin MENA, running alongside ADFW, featured Michael Saylor and drew institutional players from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East to discuss treasury strategy and Bitcoin’s role on corporate balance sheets.
Weeks before ADFW, Toure joined Binance founder CZ and gold advocate Peter Schiff at Binance Blockchain Week Dubai to discuss Bitcoin versus gold. “That debate makes good headlines,” he said. “But most allocators aren’t picking sides anymore. Both assets have a role, and tokenization makes it practical to hold them together.”
Toure appeared as a panel speaker at the Global AI Show, for the “Intelligence on Chain: Exploring the Synergy Between AI and Web3” session, examining how artificial intelligence and blockchain can work together to build more transparent and scalable systems. The discussion covered on-chain governance, data ownership, and what institutions should consider as AI-native Web3 applications move beyond early experimentation.
He also sat down for a live interview with The Crypto Radio, a Web3-focused media outlet, where he spoke about Ubuntu Tribe’s mission and how emerging markets are shaping the next wave of Web3 adoption.
“I’ve been to a lot of these events. Abu Dhabi felt different,” said Toure. “The institutional side is genuinely curious about ethical Web3 infrastructure, how it’s governed, and whom it serves. And the AI conversation kept circling back to accountability. If decision logic lives on-chain, you can see it, audit it, challenge it. That resonates with us. That’s why we built Ubuntu Tribe the way we did.”
For Toure, the event reinforced Abu Dhabi’s growing position as a meeting point for global capital, forward-thinking regulation, and emerging-market innovation.
