Jordan’s exports to European Union (EU) countries rose 46 percent year on year in the first 10 months of 2025, according to official data.
Exports rose to JD520 million ($733.4 million) between January and October 2025, from JD357 million a year ago, the state-owned Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported, citing data from the statistics department.
Italy was the top sales destination, with exports jumping 274 percent year on year to JD172 million.
Key exports included garments, fertilisers, pharmaceuticals, chemical products and selected agricultural goods.
Jordan’s imports from EU countries increased by 12 percent year on year to JD2.6 billion during the period.
Germany led the list, with imports rising 7 percent annually to JD580 million.
EU imports include vehicles, industrial machinery and equipment, pharmaceutical and medical products, chemicals, electrical machinery and electronics, as well as food products, the statement said.
