BNB Trenching Szn offers traders $650K in prizes across Binance Wallet, Bitget, GMGN, Ave.ai, and Genius from Jan 19 to Feb 21. Here’s how to participate.

BNB Chain is throwing $650,000 at traders willing to compete across five simultaneous trading competitions running from January 19 through late February. The “BNB Trenching Szn” campaign spans Binance Wallet, Bitget, GMGN, Ave.ai, and Genius—each with distinct rules, prize pools, and ranking mechanics.

BNB currently trades at $927.06, down 2.34% over the past 24 hours, with a market cap of $124.45 billion. The timing follows Binance’s recent launch of Season 2 of its On-Chain Trade & Win campaign on January 18.

Breaking Down the Five Competitions

Binance Wallet offers 200 BNB to the top 200 traders ranked by realized profit and loss. Registration opened January 18 and runs through February 2, with trading beginning January 19 at 06:00 UTC.

Bitget’s competition is the shortest—just four days from January 19-23—but features the largest single prize pool at 150,000 USDT. Top 1,200 traders by volume split the rewards.

GMGN takes a different approach, rewarding only the top 30 participants ranked by final balance with 100 BNB. This two-week contest runs through February 2.

Ave.ai structures its 100,000 USDT pool across three tiers: a “Sunshine Award” for anyone completing a single on-chain transaction of at least $200, tiered rewards for hitting volume thresholds, and a leaderboard splitting 65,000 USDT among the top 200 by volume. Competition runs January 19-26.

Genius offers the longest runway—a full month from January 21 to February 21—with $100,000 in BNB going to the top 100 traders by realized P&L.

What Traders Should Know

The varied ranking mechanics matter. Volume-based competitions like Bitget reward activity regardless of profitability—useful for traders who churn positions frequently. P&L-based contests on Binance Wallet and Genius favor those who can actually pick winners. GMGN’s balance ranking creates a different dynamic entirely, rewarding capital preservation alongside gains.

Each platform requires separate registration, and eligibility criteria differ. Traders looking to maximize exposure could theoretically participate across all five, though the overlapping timelines demand attention to each platform’s specific rules.

Registration links are live for all competitions except Genius, which states its join link will be added soon.

Fed forecasts only one rate cut in 2026, a more conservative outlook than expected

The post Fed forecasts only one rate cut in 2026, a more conservative outlook than expected appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell talks to reporters following the regular Federal Open Market Committee meetings at the Fed on July 30, 2025 in Washington, DC. Chip Somodevilla | Getty Images The Federal Reserve is projecting only one rate cut in 2026, fewer than expected, according to its median projection. The central bank’s so-called dot plot, which shows 19 individual members’ expectations anonymously, indicated a median estimate of 3.4% for the federal funds rate at the end of 2026. That compares to a median estimate of 3.6% for the end of this year following two expected cuts on top of Wednesday’s reduction. A single quarter-point reduction next year is significantly more conservative than current market pricing. Traders are currently pricing in at two to three more rate cuts next year, according to the CME Group’s FedWatch tool, updated shortly after the decision. The gauge uses prices on 30-day fed funds futures contracts to determine market-implied odds for rate moves. Here are the Fed’s latest targets from 19 FOMC members, both voters and nonvoters: Zoom In IconArrows pointing outwards The forecasts, however, showed a large difference of opinion with two voting members seeing as many as four cuts. Three officials penciled in three rate reductions next year. “Next year’s dot plot is a mosaic of different perspectives and is an accurate reflection of a confusing economic outlook, muddied by labor supply shifts, data measurement concerns, and government policy upheaval and uncertainty,” said Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management. The central bank has two policy meetings left for the year, one in October and one in December. Economic projections from the Fed saw slightly faster economic growth in 2026 than was projected in June, while the outlook for inflation was updated modestly higher for next year. There’s a lot of uncertainty…
