WisdomTree tokenized funds have been extended to the Solana network as the asset manager activated its full suite of on-chain products on the network. The move is part of the asset manager’s multi-chain strategy, providing regulated on-chain access to its products via faster settlement infrastructure.

The announcement confirms that the asset manager’s tokenized funds in the areas of money markets, equities, fixed incomes, alternatives, and asset allocation products are now accessible on the Solana network. The asset manager also provides a conversion service for its users to swap between USDC and PYUSD on the Solana network.

Maredith Hannon, the head of business development for digital assets at WisdomTree, confirmed this. The move is part of the company’s commitment to regulated real-world assets.

The high-speed architecture of the Solana network meets the growing demand for on-chain financial instruments, she added. The asset manager’s tokenized funds will also benefit from improved accessibility on the Solana network, she said.

Expanded Institutional Access on Solana

The asset manager’s institutional platform, named WisdomTree Connect, now supports the minting of all existing WisdomTree tokenized funds on the Solana network.

The platform also supports B2B and B2B2C tokenization services. The update provides broader workflow options for the institution without changing the product structures.

Institutions are now able to hold and manage their positions on the Solana blockchain. They are also able to interact with approved Solana native applications in accordance with internal risk controls. The firm also offers a self-custody solution via a compatible Solana wallet.

WisdomTree has launched its WisdomTree tokenized funds on the Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Optimism, and Stellar blockchain networks.

The firm is still one of the largest regulated issuers in the on-chain real-world asset space. According to data from RWA.xyz, the assets under management are over $772 million on these blockchain networks.

WisdomTree Tokenized Funds Broaden Market Access

The firm’s product offerings include the WisdomTree Government Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX), among other products.

The product offerings also include equity-based tokenized funds like the WisdomTree U.S. LargeCap Fund (EPS) and the WisdomTree U.S. Quality Dividend Growth Fund (DGRW).

Other products include fixed-income exposures and private credit-linked models via WisdomTree tokenized funds.

The Solana blockchain is now more than $1.3 billion in tokenized real-world assets, according to data from RWA.xyz. The blockchain has witnessed an increase in the number of issuers due to its performance.

The launch of WisdomTree tokenized funds on the Solana blockchain is the latest development in the on-chain real-world asset space. There is now another regulated issuer in the RWA market on the blockchain.

The firm said that the expansion of the product offerings on the blockchain is a positive move for the firm’s multi-chain deployment framework. WisdomTree tokenized funds on the Solana blockchain provide more optionality for users in the regulated on-chain markets.

Huawei goes public with chip ambitions, boosting China’s tech autonomy post-Nvidia

The post Huawei goes public with chip ambitions, boosting China’s tech autonomy post-Nvidia appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Huawei publicly revealed its full chip roadmap on Thursday during its annual Connect conference in Shanghai, confirming it would begin releasing some of the world’s most powerful computing systems in a push to reduce China’s reliance on Nvidia and other foreign chipmakers, according to Reuters. Eric Xu, Huawei’s rotating chairman, disclosed that the company had developed its own high-bandwidth memory, a technology previously led by Samsung and SK Hynix. Xu said, “We will follow a 1-year release cycle and double compute with each release,” making it clear Huawei now intends to release next-gen chips and hardware annually with increased processing capabilities. The announcement came just days before U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to meet on Friday, following trade talks between both countries earlier in the week. The move is widely seen as an attempt by Beijing to project confidence in its tech ecosystem as U.S.-China tensions continue to grow. Huawei releases full schedule for Ascend, Kunpeng chips, and computing clusters Huawei detailed the timeline for its AI chip series Ascend, starting with the 910C, which was released earlier this year. The Ascend 950 will launch in 2026 with two variants. The 960 will follow in 2027, and the 970 is scheduled for 2028. Huawei also confirmed its Kunpeng server chips will receive updates in 2026 and 2028. China’s chip war with the U.S. escalated this week as Nvidia was accused of violating China’s anti-monopoly law, and several large Chinese tech firms were ordered to cancel Nvidia AI chip orders. Financial Times reported that government regulators had also instructed distributors to stop placing new Nvidia orders. One executive in China’s chip distribution industry said his company was told verbally to stop buying Nvidia chips and was only allowed to sell current inventory. That executive declined…
