Darwinia Commitment Token (KTON) is a cryptocurrency associated with the Darwinia Network, a decentralized cross-chain bridge and hub that connects different blockchains to facilitate the transfer of assets and data.

KTON is a significant component of Darwinia’s ecosystem, designed to serve several essential functions within the network.

KTON token holders have voting power and can participate in the decision-making process for the Darwinia Network. They can vote on proposals, changes, and upgrades to the network, helping to shape its development and policies.

Moreover, KTON tokens can be staked within the Darwinia Network. Staking KTON is a way for participants to help secure the network and earn rewards in the form of RING tokens (Darwinia’s primary utility token) or other incentives.

BitGo, a digital asset infrastructure company with more than $100 billion in assets under custody, has received an extension of its license from Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), enabling it to offer crypto services to European investors.
