Growing interest in digital asset wealth services is reshaping how affluent investors manage portfolios, with nexo private client demand rising sharply across global markets.

Rapid growth in Nexo Private and shifting investor behavior

On 26.03.2026, Nexo announced that its dedicated private client service for high-net-worth individuals and family offices has more than doubled its user base since the start of the year. Moreover, the platform now oversees over $8 billion in assets under management, underscoring its scale in the digital asset wealth segment.

Since 2025, demand for tailored digital asset solutions has driven a 136% increase in the Nexo Private client base. At the same time, language coverage has expanded from 9 to 17 languages, strengthening Nexo’s ability to serve a truly international audience. The service caters to clients with portfolios of $100,000 or more, focusing on a high-touch, relationship-driven model.

This expansion arrives at a turning point for traditional finance. While many institutions still take cautious, fragmented steps into digital assets, high-net-worth individuals and family offices are moving faster. Recent data indicates that up to 74% of these investors are already invested in, or actively exploring, crypto allocations.

That said, the post-ETF landscape has also been a major catalyst. Exchange-traded products attracted over $30 billion in inflows in their first year, reinforcing crypto’s growing role in diversified portfolios and challenging legacy wealth management models.

Credit strategies and the move beyond passive exposure

Elevated borrowing costs in traditional markets are encouraging investors to consider alternative liquidity sources. Consequently, demand is rising for crypto-backed credit strategies that allow investors to unlock capital without liquidating appreciating holdings, particularly flagship assets such as BTC and ETH.

Nexo Private’s rapid growth reflects a broader move away from simple, passive exposure to crypto. Instead, clients are gravitating toward more structured, actively managed strategies that combine yield, liquidity, and risk management. This is precisely where the nexo private client proposition aims to differentiate itself, with a blend of bespoke lending, trading, and portfolio tools.

Nexo has broadened its private client proposition by introducing direct access to Relationship Managers, tailored onboarding, and priority assistance. Furthermore, private clients gain access to curated experiences, enhanced fixed-term products, and portfolio optimization capabilities designed to support more sophisticated strategies.

The offering includes high-capacity credit solutions, enabling eligible clients to borrow up to $100 million at zero interest through Nexo’s award-winning ZiC strategy. Recognized as “Consumer Lending Product of the Year” at the 2026 FinTech Breakthrough Awards, ZiC sits alongside bespoke borrowing and trading options with custom terms and rates.

Client demand for tailored, high-touch crypto wealth services

“Increasingly, clients are looking beyond traditional assets for solutions that are truly tailored to their needs, and crypto is uniquely positioned to deliver that,” said Octavian Dinca, Nexo Head of Private Client Services. However, he stressed that these investors are not willing to sacrifice liquidity access in pursuit of higher-growth assets.

“They want a more dynamic asset class, yet one that doesn’t compromise on liquidity access – and that is precisely where Nexo comes in. The growth we’ve seen in Nexo Private this year reflects a client base that is increasingly sophisticated, decisive, and hungry for solutions that go beyond simple exposure,” Dinca added.

According to Dinca, products like Nexo’s Zero-interest Credit show how private wealth services in crypto are evolving. Clients gain the flexibility and liquidity they need to make their holdings work harder, without giving them up. Moreover, he framed Nexo’s strategy as “building for the next generation of private wealth,” emphasizing that the firm is “only getting started.”

New in-app features and security-focused architecture

As part of this broader upgrade cycle, Nexo has rolled out new in-app private chat functionality for eligible private clients. This feature offers a secure, direct communication channel with their dedicated Relationship Manager without leaving the platform, making service delivery more convenient and immediate.

The in-app chat is integrated into Nexo’s existing security framework. In particular, the platform’s Anti-Scam Engine analyzes real-time risk signals and provides user prompts to help identify and flag potentially malicious transaction activity. At the same time, SOC-certified controls are designed to safeguard client data within an institution-grade environment.

Building on these enhancements, Nexo Private now unifies high-touch services, advanced credit tools, and OTC capabilities in a single, comprehensive environment for private clients and family offices. That said, the company also emphasizes lifestyle and experiential elements as part of its value proposition.

Service pillars: white-glove, OTC, and exclusive experiences

White-glove private client service

The white-glove service tier centers on personalized support. Each eligible client receives a Dedicated Relationship Manager for tailored guidance and coordinated assistance. Clients also benefit from personalized onboarding aligned with their objectives, ensuring a smoother transition into the platform’s full suite of tools.

In addition, white-glove clients receive priority assistance with accelerated response times and 24/7 access. Custom terms and rates, including preferential limits and reduced fees, further enhance flexibility for complex portfolios. Consequently, this approach aims to mirror, and in some respects surpass, traditional private banking standards for affluent crypto investors.

Enhanced OTC trading and credit capabilities

Nexo Private has expanded its toolkit with credit and OTC solutions designed for flexibility and high-volume requirements. Clients can access zero-interest credit facilities of up to $100 million, secured by BTC or ETH, giving them significant leverage for large positions without forced selling.

Alongside this, custom crypto credit lines offer up to 65% loan-to-value (LTV) across a diversified collateral base of more than 40 assets. This structure helps unlock liquidity well beyond traditional single-asset borrowing. Advanced OTC trading with deep liquidity and minimal slippage is complemented by portfolio management tools, including collateral optimization and exposure expansion mechanisms.

Exclusive access and curated experiences

Beyond financial services, Nexo offers access to a portfolio of premium experiences, spanning select sporting events, industry gatherings, and private engagements. Each experience is curated to align with a client’s personal interests and preferences, reinforcing the high-touch ethos behind the private program.

A dedicated Relationship Manager coordinates every aspect of these engagements to ensure seamless execution. Moreover, this experiential layer is intended to echo the standards of traditional luxury and private banking services while anchoring them in a digital asset context.

USDH Power Struggle Ignites Stablecoin “Bidding Wars” Across DeFi: Bloomberg

A heated contest for control over a new dollar-pegged token has set the stage for what analysts say could define the next phase of the stablecoin industry. According to Bloomberg, a bidding war unfolded on Hyperliquid, one of crypto’s fastest-growing trading platforms, with the prize being the right to issue USDH, its native stablecoin. The competition drew some of the sector’s most prominent names, including Paxos, Sky, and Ethena, who later withdrew their bid, alongside the lesser-known Native Markets, a startup backed by Stripe stablecoin subsidiary Bridge. Hyperliquid Stablecoin Race Shows Branding and Partnerships Matter as Much as Tech Over the weekend, Hyperliquid’s validators, the contributors who secure the network and vote on key decisions, awarded the USDH contract to Native Markets over the weekend. Despite its relatively new status, the firm’s connection with Stripe helped it outpace more established rivals. Stablecoins underpin decentralized finance by providing a dollar-backed medium for collateral, settlement, and payments across applications. What began as a grassroots, community-led sector has evolved into a battleground for institutions and payment companies seeking revenue from interest on reserves. Circle, for example, shares proceeds from its USDC with Coinbase under a partnership designed to stabilize earnings during market swings. The Hyperliquid contest offered a rare glimpse into just how intense competition has become. Paxos pledged to take no revenue until USDH surpassed $1 billion in circulation. Agora offered to share 100% of net revenue with Hyperliquid, while Ethena put forward 95%. All were outbid by Native Markets, whose ties to Stripe’s $1.1 billion acquisition of Bridge and subsequent rollout of the Tempo blockchain positioned it as a strong contender. “Every stablecoin issuer is extremely desperate for supply,” said Zaheer Ebtikar, co-founder of Split Capital. “They are willing to publicly announce how much they are willing to offer. It just shows it’s a very tough business for stablecoin issuers.” While USDC remains dominant on Hyperliquid with more than $5.6 billion in deposits, the arrival of USDH could shift flows and revenue dynamics. Paxos co-founder Bhau Kotecha said the firm sees the exchange’s growth as an important opportunity, while Agora’s co-founder Nick van Eck warned that awarding the contract to a vertically integrated issuer risked undermining decentralization. Regulatory positioning also factored into the debate. Paxos operates under a New York trust charter and is seeking a federal license, while Bridge holds money transmitter approvals in 30 states. Native Markets, in a blog post, cited regulatory flexibility and deployment speed as reasons for its selection. Hyperliquid said the strong engagement from its community validated the process. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire dismissed concerns over USDC’s status, noting on X that competition benefits the ecosystem. Analysts suggested that fears of centralization may be exaggerated, noting that Hyperliquid is likely to remain neutral and support multiple stablecoins. Still, the contest over USDH highlighted a new reality for stablecoins: branding, partnerships, and business strategy are becoming as decisive as technology. Native Markets Secures USDH Stablecoin Mandate on Hyperliquid Hyperliquid has concluded its governance vote for the USDH stablecoin, awarding the mandate to Native Markets after a closely watched process that drew weeks of community debate and rival proposals. USDH, described by Hyperliquid as a “Hyperliquid-first, compliant, and natively minted” dollar-backed token, is intended to reduce the platform’s dependence on USDC and strengthen its spot markets. Validators on the decentralized exchange voted in favor of Native Markets, a relatively new player backed by Stripe’s Bridge subsidiary, over established contenders including Paxos and Ethena. The outcome followed a string of proposals offering aggressive revenue-sharing terms to win validator support, underscoring the scale of incentives attached to controlling USDH. Hyperliquid’s exchange has become a critical hub for stablecoin liquidity, with $5.7 billion in USDC, around 8% of its total supply, currently held on the network. At prevailing treasury yields, that translates to an estimated $200 million to $220 million in annual revenue for Circle, underlining why a native alternative could be transformative. Hyperliquid’s validators, who secure the network and vote on key decisions, selected Native Markets following an on-chain governance process that concluded September 15. Native Markets has laid out a phased rollout for USDH, beginning with capped minting and redemption trials before expanding into spot markets. Its reserves will be managed in cash and treasuries by BlackRock, with on-chain tokenization through Superstate and Bridge. Yield from those reserves will be split between Hyperliquid’s Assistance Fund and ecosystem development. The launch of USDH comes as Hyperliquid records record profits from perpetual futures trading, with $106 million in revenue in August alone, and prepares to slash spot trading fees by 80% to bolster liquidity. Analysts say the move positions Hyperliquid to capture more of the stablecoin economics internally, marking a significant step in its bid to rival the largest players in decentralized finance
