Stray Kids Fill 20% of an Entire Billboard Chart with Multiple Albums

Stray Kids already rank as one of the most commercially successful K-pop boy bands of all time, and for more than half a decade, one of the biggest all-male vocal troupes in the world. At the moment, the group has a perfect track record on the Billboard 200, as every project the musicians have sent to the competitive list of the biggest albums in America has reached No. 1.

The outfit’s performance on the World Albums chart is even more impressive. This week, Stray Kids manage an incredible feat as multiple titles return to the tally, ensuring the South Korean favorites occupy a large amount of real estate at once.

Rock-Star and 5-Star Reenter the World Albums List

Stray Kids fill five spaces on Billboard’s World Albums chart this frame. The tally only features 25 spaces, meaning that the group claims one-fifth of the entire ranking. The list measures the top-performing non-English or Spanish-language albums and EPs in the United States and uses a methodology that blends both actual sales and streaming activity.

Multiple Stray Kids projects find their way back to the World Albums chart this week. Rock-Star reenters at No. 20, while 5-Star breaks back in one space lower, at No. 21. Both of those sets have previously run the show.

Karma Matches Oddinary as a Six-Week No. 1

Stray Kids are once again in charge of the World Albums list as Karma continues to lead. The set has now held court on the throne for half a dozen frames, and it has yet to fall from the summit.

As Karma earns another stay at No. 1, it ties as one of the longest-running No. 1s in Stray Kids’ discography on the World Albums chart. Karma is now matched with Oddinary, which also spent six weeks ruling, while several projects from the boy band have commanded the list for longer stays.

Hop and Ate Rise as Stray Kids Expand Their Lead

As both Rock-Star and 5-Star return, two other bestsellers from Stray Kids climb on the World Albums chart. Hop returns to the top 10, improving from No. 13 to No. 10. At the same time, Ate surges from No. 16 to No. 12.

Stray Kids’ Seven No. 1s Define a Record Year

Throughout the years, Stray Kids have racked up seven No. 1s on the World Albums chart, which is one of the most impressive accumulations among all acts. That roundup includes Rock-Star, Ate, Hop, Karma, Oddinary, 5-Star, and Accident.

Stray Kids claim 20 total appearances on the World Albums chart, and 17 of those projects have spent at least one week inside the top 10. Only three releases from the South Korean superstars — SKZ-Replay, SKZ 2020, and Hollow — missed the top 10 entirely, as those releases stalled at Nos. 11, 14, and 18, respectively.

Rock-Star Remains the Group’s Longest-Running No. 1

In terms of longevity on the World Albums chart — and looking only at No. 1s — Rock-Star is the longest-running leader by Stray Kids. That project earned nine weeks at the summit. It’s followed by Ate, with, coincidentally, eight frames ruling, and then Hop with seven.

BTS and Enhypen Trail Behind Stray Kids’ Massive Week

Only a few acts manage more than one hit on the World Albums chart this week, and none of them come close to matching the performance of Stray Kids. BTS sit at Nos. 4 and 23 with Proof and Permission to Dance on Stage: Live, respectively, while Map of the Soul: 7 reenters at No. 24.

Another K-pop boy band, Enhypen, also fills several spots. Desire: Unleash is up one space to No. 5, while Romance: Untold lifts three spots and settles at No. 15.
