If there’s one thing 2025 has taught us, it’s that crypto investors don’t stay loyal to narratives for long, they follow momentum. And right now, two projects keep popping up on every serious investor’s radar: Merlin Chain (MERL) and Remittix (RTX).

Both are showing completely different kinds of strength. Merlin Chain is riding a wave thanks to its zk-powered ecosystem and its role in the L2 expansion narrative. Remittix combines utility, huge market demand, clear user-focused products, etc. In fact, that’s enough talking. Let’s just get into the nitty-gritty of what’s going on.

The Market Right Now: Why Investors Are Watching “Utility + Momentum” Assets

2025 hasn’t been calm for a single month. Bitcoin’s consolidation, shifting liquidity and the next wave of institutional inflows are reshaping where smart traders put their money. The biggest theme?

Utility matters again a lot. Meme coins still pump, but investors are allocating more into projects with:

  • Real adoption potential
  • Scalable ecosystems
  • Practical use cases
  • Early-stage growth curves
  • Strong tokenomics

This is precisely why MERL and RTX are even being mentioned in the same conversations. They don’t solve the same problems, but they do represent the kinds of tokens that tend to outperform during the early stages of new market cycles.

MERL (Merlin Chain): Riding the L2 Wave With Expanding Ecosystem Activity

Merlin Chain continues to grow because it sits in the sweet spot of 2025’s hottest infrastructure narrative: Layer-2 expansion.

Here’s what’s driving MERL’s momentum right now:

  • Scalable, zk-powered architecture: MERL has got the zk-tech, which aims to make Ethereum-based applications faster and cheaper without sacrificing security.
  • A growing builder ecosystem: New dApps, gaming projects and liquidity tools are choosing Merlin Chain simply because the L2 environment is cheaper and more flexible than building directly on Ethereum.
  • Strong liquidity on major DEXs: Several trading pairs tied to MERL are seeing higher volumes than expected for a mid-cap L2 token, often signaling that large traders are quietly positioning.
  • Cross-chain tools attracting users: Merlin Chain’s compatibility with multiple chains makes it one of the more user-friendly L2s, particularly for DeFi users tired of high fees.

MERL’s outlook for 2026 depends heavily on whether developer activity keeps growing; but so far, it’s holding stronger momentum than most new L2 tokens released this cycle.

Remittix: The Utility Token Investors Believe Could Outperform Into 2026

If MERL represents the “infrastructure” play, Remittix represents something completely different: a direct, real-world, everyday use case. And investors love that.

RTX is being discussed as one of the best cryptos to buy now because it does what most presales never attempt: It targets a massive, existing global market.

In simple terms, here’s what Remittix basically does:

  • It streamlines cross-border payments using crypto rails, giving users:
  • Faster transfers
  • Lower fees
  • Multi-chain support
  • A simple, usable interface

And unlike speculative meme tokens or abstract L1s, Remittix focuses on a real financial problem affecting hundreds of millions of people.

Why RTX Is Getting So Much Attention Right Now

Here’s a simplified breakdown of what’s fueling Remittix’s surge in visibility:

  • The presale momentum is real: Public reports indicate over $28.5 million raised, which instantly puts RTX in the upper tier of 2025 presales.
  • Security has been handled early: RTX underwent a CertiK audit with zero critical vulnerabilities. That immediately separates it from the usual presale risks.
  • The product isn’t vaporware: A live version of the Remittix wallet is already on the App Store. That’s rare for a presale.
  • Exchange listings are confirmed: BitMart and LBank have been announced, pending timeline milestones. That gives RTX a clear post-presale liquidity plan.
  • Tokenomics are straightforward: Total supply is about 1.5B RTX, presale allocation is around 750M RTX and the distribution model is transparent.

All of this makes RTX attractive to investors who want utility with early-stage upside.

MERL vs RTX: Which One Has More Growth Potential?

Here’s the honest breakdown:

MERL

  • Strong L2 narrative
  • Solid developer interest
  • Good long-term infrastructure potential

But growth depends on adoption and competition in the broader L2 space

RTX

  • Has a crystal-clear use case
  • Benefits from rising global crypto payments adoption
  • Presale buyers get the early upside
  • Growth is simpler and narrative-driven
  • Fits perfectly into the utility trend of 2025–2026

Most analysts agree: MERL is the technical play, but RTX is the growth-curve play. If the question is “which could run harder in 2026?” RTX is frequently the top answer.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. Is Remittix really the best crypto to buy now?

Many analysts believe so because Remittix combines early-stage entry, real-world utility, and strong presale momentum. With over $28M raised, a working product, and confirmed exchange listings, it offers a clearer growth path than many speculative tokens.

  1. How does Remittix compare to Merlin Chain (MERL)?

They operate in different lanes. MERL is an L2 scalability solution, while Remittix targets the massive global payments and remittance market. Investors bullish on utility and user adoption tend to lean toward RTX; those wanting infrastructure exposure consider MERL.

  1. Why are investors shifting into utility tokens now?

2025 has shown a shift away from “hype-only” coins. Investors now favor tokens with actual use cases;  payments, DeFi, AI tooling, cross-chain infrastructure. This is why presales like RTX that offer real-world applications are gaining visibility.

  1. Will Remittix continue rising after the presale?

A lot of investors think yes, largely because of its upcoming listings on BitMart and LBank and the early traction of its wallet product. Presales with real product delivery often outperform in the first 6–18 months post-launch.

  1. 5.     Can MERL still be a strong investment going into 2026?

Absolutely! L2 networks aren’t going anywhere. If zk adoption and developer activity continues rising, MERL could experience steady appreciation. It’s just a different type of play compared to Remittix’s high-growth, real-world model.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

The post BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. BlackRock is steering $185 billion worth of model portfolios deeper into US stocks and artificial intelligence. The decision came this week as the asset manager adjusted its entire model suite, increasing its equity allocation and dumping exposure to international developed markets. The firm now sits 2% overweight on stocks, after money moved between several of its biggest exchange-traded funds. This wasn’t a slow shuffle. Billions flowed across multiple ETFs on Tuesday as BlackRock executed the realignment. The iShares S&P 100 ETF (OEF) alone brought in $3.4 billion, the largest single-day haul in its history. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $2.3 billion, while the iShares US Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added nearly $2 billion. The rebalancing triggered swift inflows and outflows that realigned investor exposure on the back of performance data and macroeconomic outlooks. BlackRock raises equities on strong US earnings The model updates come as BlackRock backs the rally in American stocks, fueled by strong earnings and optimism around rate cuts. In an investment letter obtained by Bloomberg, the firm said US companies have delivered 11% earnings growth since the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, earnings across other developed markets barely touched 2%. That gap helped push the decision to drop international holdings in favor of American ones. Michael Gates, lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Target Allocation ETF model portfolio suite, said the US market is the only one showing consistency in sales growth, profit delivery, and revisions in analyst forecasts. “The US equity market continues to stand alone in terms of earnings delivery, sales growth and sustainable trends in analyst estimates and revisions,” Michael wrote. He added that non-US developed markets lagged far behind, especially when it came to sales. This week’s changes reflect that position. The move was made ahead of the Federal…
